By making a reservation with VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Reservations and Payment

Making a Reservation: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve an order. Payments can be made via cash, e-transfer, credit card, or certified cheque.
Full Payment: Full payment is due no later than 3 business days prior to delivery. Your order will not be scheduled for delivery until full payment is received.
Returned Cheques: If a payment cheque is returned by the bank, you agree to pay a service charge of $50.00 or 5% of the order total, whichever is greater.

2. Changes and Cancellation

Order Modifications: Once an order is confirmed, the items are reserved for you, making them unavailable for others.
Item Quantity Reductions:
- Reductions of up to 20% of the original quantity per item must be made at least 7 days prior to your event to avoid penalties.
- Reductions exceeding 20% or any reductions made within 7 days of your event will incur a 50% penalty of the total rental rate for the canceled item(s) plus applicable taxes.
Item Quantity Increases: Order increases are contingent on item availability and must be made before scheduled pickup or delivery. Additional items will be billed separately.
Cancellation Policy:
- 4 days before delivery date or 96 hours' notice: An additional 20% cancellation fee applies.
- 3 days before delivery date or 72 hours' notice: An additional 40% cancellation fee applies.
- 2 days before delivery date or 48 hours' notice: An additional 70% cancellation fee applies.
- Cancellation on the rental start date will result in a 100% charge.
No Exceptions: Due to the nature of our business, exceptions to this cancellation policy cannot be made, including for event cancellations for any reason.

3. Delivery and Pickup

Failure to Deliver: In the event that VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals is unable to deliver the items as scheduled, a full refund of all payments (including the 30% deposit) will be issued within 7-10 business days. VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals is not liable for any other damages resulting from a delivery failure.
Site Preparation: You are responsible for ensuring the site is ready for our crew upon arrival (e.g., cleared of vehicles, leveled ground). You must also inform VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals of any underground utilities (gas lines, septic systems, etc.) that could interfere with equipment placement. You assume all responsibility for any damage to underground equipment if we are not notified.
Delivery/Pickup Service: All items are delivered and picked up from a single, designated location. The client should be available to count all items upon delivery and pickup; otherwise, our counts will be considered accurate. Additional charges may apply for delivery to difficult-to-access locations, specific time windows, or after-hours service.
Cleanup for Pickup: Please ensure the area around the equipment is clear of any debris before the scheduled pickup time.
Lateness: Items not returned by the agreed-upon date will incur a late fee equivalent to the daily rental rate.

4. Equipment Responsibility

Damage to Equipment: Responsibility for all equipment remains with the client from the time of delivery until pickup. Please ensure all items are secured when not in use and protected from the weather. The renter is responsible for all damages, including disappearance, soiling, or staining.
Reporting Damage: In the event of damage, the renter agrees to contact VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals within 12 hours. The renter will be billed for all repairs or replacement costs, including parts and accessories.
Equipment Failure: If equipment malfunctions, you must notify VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals during the rental period to be considered for a price adjustment. For emergencies during an event, an after-hours staff member can be reached at (647) 236-8891.

5. Legal and General

Legal Costs: If VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals must employ a lawyer to recover equipment, collect rentals, or seek damages, you are responsible for reimbursing all legal costs.
Indemnification and Defense: You agree to indemnify and hold VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals harmless from any claims for personal injury or property damage arising out of your event, except for claims resulting from the negligence of VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals.
Permits: You are responsible for obtaining all necessary municipal or other permits. You are also responsible for providing parking permits or space for our delivery and pickup vehicles and will pay for any parking fines received during the service.
Marketing Reference: VELPOT Portable Toilet Rentals may use photos from your event in its marketing materials.

You are solely responsible for any additional charges incurred from failure to meet these terms and conditions.
